Air Traffic Control Simulation

DT Media is at the forefront in developing sophisticated 3D based visual systems
and is now using this expertise to develop a new fully integrated ATC tower simulator.

The ATC tower simulator is being created using existing technology developed in-house for other DT Media simulation products. In addition, the recent increases in computer processing power and advances in high-fidelity displays is enabling DT Media to simulate out of tower window views to a level of realism which only recently used to be associated with higher priced systems.

The tower simulator will be fully integrated with approach control and area radar stations. A generic airport / aerodrome will be provided with the system, along with 3D models of aircraft and ground vehicles.

The tower visual displays will also be able to simulate day, night and dusk scenarios. Fog, rain and other weather effects can also be introduced.
